Ammonia water, also known as ammonia water, refers to an aqueous solution of ammonia, mainly composed of NH3 · H2O, colorless, transparent, and with an irritating odor. Ammonia water is volatile and has partial alkalinity. It is produced by introducing ammonia gas into water.
Main application:
Used as agricultural fertilizer. Used in the chemical industry to manufacture various ammonium salts, aminating agents for organic synthesis, and catalysts for producing thermosetting phenolic resins. Used in the textile industry for wool, silk, and printing and dyeing industries, for washing wool, woolen fabrics, and grey fabrics from oil stains and assisting in dyeing, adjusting acidity and alkalinity, etc. In addition, it is used for alkalization of pharmaceuticals, leather making, hot water bottle liners (prepared with silver plating solution), rubber, and fats

It should be stored away from heated areas, sparks, and flames. Do not add any other material to the container and avoid storing it in a damp atmosphere. Take precautions to prevent contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Refrain from smoking or consuming food while handling the product. Follow good storage and handling practices and wash thoroughly after handling. Keep it away from flammable substances.
